So beautiful.

A terminally-ill woman had her dying wish fulfilled by a dedicated team of paramedics.

Carmen Leon de la Barra, who has advanced bowel cancer, wanted to watch the sunset on the beach one last time with her husband.

The couple have enjoyed their walks almost every day since 1995, after they migrated to Sydney from Chile.

Ms Leon de la Barra had been unable to see the sunset or water for months due to her illness.

Her daughter Tatiana Salloum asked charity Dreams2Live4 to help take her mother to the ocean one last time.

A NSW Ambulance took Ms Leon de la Barra to Brighton-Le-Sands beach in Sydney, surrounded by her husband, three children and grandchildren.

According to her daughter, her beach visit made the dying woman ‘so happy’.

Sadly, it would be the last time Ms Leon de la Barra would ever visit the beach.

She tragically passed away only two days after her final trip.
