Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet again faced public criticism from the Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister.
Samantha Markle, who shares the same father as the newly minted royal, took to Twitter to slam the couple’s Christmas card photo.
The black-and-white photograph, taken at Meghan and Harry’s wedding, shows the couple with their backs turned, facing a fireworks display.
‘Interesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their backs turned. Is this towards the world or just the Ragland and Markle family?’ Samantha wrote.
‘It’s a bit sad. Face the Christmas spirit.’
Samantha also described the Duke and Duchess as being ‘incredibly rude’.
‘It’s incredibly rude to turn your back in a Christmas photo that is meant to share warmth and good wishes with the world,’ she added.
‘Those that criticize me for pointing out the truth, need to get that brown stuff off their noses. I hear the world’s smallest violin playing.’
Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card is vastly different to Prince William and Kate’s family picture.
The official Christmas portrait shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smiling sweetly alongside their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Next year the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have another member of the family to add to their Christmas card!
