A former waitress who started making instructional videos on how to make slime at home now earns six figures a month from her videos.
Karina Garcia, 23, from California, started filming tutorials on how to make the putty-like substance and has now amassed nearly six million subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Within seven months, Karina started making money from her videos and has now become so successful, her parents have retired and she has bought her own six-bedroom home.
She's also signed a book deal, releasing a series of slime recipes.
But Karina's income doesn't just come from her videos - she also has sponsorship deals with companies including Disney and Coca-Cola.
'There are times when it’s $200,000 in a really good month,' she told the New York Times. 'I’ve retired my parents. It’s definitely really crazy. Even I can’t believe it. I’m like, ‘How is this happening?''
