Shocking footage of a tape worm being pulled from a man’s eye has surfaced after his doctor posted it online.
The unnamed man in his 60s is said to have gone to a hospital in Karnataka, India with the creature squirming in his eye.
Dr Srikanth Shetty set to removing the tape worm which was risking his patient’s eye sight. The worm is believed to be Wuchereria Bancrofti, a type of roundworm, that is spread via mosquito bites.

After pulling out the tape worm with tweezers, the doc then places the parasite in a glass jar.

The patient then had to undergo an operation in order to ensure his eyesight wasn’t damaged further by the parasite.
