A tiger saves his keeper in a dramatic encounter with a leopard at a big cat sanctuary in Mexico.

The video starts with Eduardo Serio hanging out with 6 white lions, rubbing their bellies chatting to them. Several tigers can be seen wandering in the background.

Just behind Eduardo the tiger Atzlan lazes on his side. The only clue something is about to happen is when Atzlan shifts into a crouch – watching Dharma the leopard approach.

Suddenly Dharma breaks into a run – clearly on a path for Eduardo. Leaping into action, Atzlan intercepts Dharma, who runs around and comes at Eduardo, playfully clawing at his shorts.

A quick reprimand reminds Dharma who is the boss, and the video ends with Eduardo thanking Atzlan for having his back.
