Sydney Siege survivor Louisa Hope: ‘One false move, I’m gone’

Louisa and her mum faced a 16-hour fight to survive

On an everyday Monday morning in December 2104, Louisa Hope faced an unimaginable situation.

Trapped in Sydney’s Lindt Cafe with a man brandishing a shotgun and claiming to have a bomb in his bag, Louisa and her mum spent the next 16 hours being held against their will.

Used as a human shield, her fight to survive is both frightening and inspiring.
