London socialite Annabelle Neilson has been found dead at the age of 49.
The ex-wife of bank billionaire Nat Rothschild was found on Thursday in her London home in affluent the suburb of Chelsea. Police have confirmed her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Working as a model in her twenties, Neilson became the muse of fashion designer Alexander McQueen who died in 2010. The last person to see him alive, she was left devastated by his death.
‘He was my brother, my boyfriend, my soulmate. Most of the time people called me Mrs McQueen. Quite often we were sharing a bed,’ Neilson told the Daily Mail in 2015.
More recently, Neilson starred in the reality TV show Ladies of London, which chronicled the lives of six ladies in the English capital city.
Good friends with Kate Moss, last week Neilson was photographed at the wedding of her ex-partner Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill. In a photograph seen on the Instagram page of model and socialite Poppy Delevingne, Neilson is seen to the right of Kate Moss.
Tributes have poured in for the star who was last photographed on her own Instagram on June 18.
