Pregnant teacher accused of affair with 15-year-old student

A 27-year-old teacher has been released on bail after being accused of having an affair with a 15-year-old student of hers.

Ruth Katherine Harper, a cheerleading coach, teacher, and tennis coach from Texas, was arrested after a tip via the school district’s website claimed she was having an affair and that she was pregnant.

Ms Harper is in fact 8 months pregnant, but it has not been confirmed if the student is the father.

The police warrant states that when asked about the affair the student began to cry and said they had met for sex several times, and they had drunk alcohol and sent nude images to each other reports Fox 4.

‘One thing led to another and she told me to ‘put it in’ and I did’, he said.
