Oliver, 13, Hannah, 18, and Luke, 21, shared the touching photo of their parents who received terminal cancer diagnoses just three years apart.

A JustGiving.com page was set up to help the family continue without their parents. In just 24 hours donations had exceeded $20,000 AUD. The figure is now over $300,000.

In a statement, eldest son Luke has said: ‘My brother, sister and I are overwhelmed by the enormous support and generosity we have received from so many friends and well-wishers.’

He adds that the support that’s been offered would be a great relief to their mother who worried about her children toward the end of her illness.

‘Mum has appreciated all the help from close friends in supporting the family over the last three years through difficult times and it would be a huge relief to her to know this support will continue.’

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bennets at this difficult time.
