Bronia Tindall had just married her Roman husband in the nearby Auckland church when they decided to take a moment for a beautiful gesture.

Approaching a nearby homeless man Bronia handed him a slice of wedding cake, the couple then stayed to chat before heading back toward their reception.

Their photographer caught the beautiful moment, which was published on the New Zealand Herald’s front page.

‘He was really touched. I think he thought we were going to move him on,’ Bronia told Daily Mail Australia.

She said she was glad the photo has gotten so much attention.

‘Everyone thinks it’s really great to have something positive on the front page for a change,’ she said.
