In a ‘thriller’ of a haul, a Currumbin local has caught a female sand crab that’s the spit of the late top-shelling artist Michael Jackson.
Megan Short, 41, told Daily Mail Australia that she was out fishing on the Tweed River when she snagged what seemed to be a normal crab.
After taking a few pictures, she released it.
But when she posted a snap of the crustacean on Facebook, her friends pointed out its likeness to the King of Pop.
“It wasn’t until I went back online I realised it had blown up and all my friends were commenting that it looked like Michael Jackson – or as they said: ‘Michael Crabson’.”

Ms Short told The Daily Mail Australia that she’s since caught a fish that looks like Australian TV personality Bert Newton.
