Convicted baby killer Keli Lane has spoken out from her prison cell for the very first time.
Lane, 43, was jailed for the 1996 murder of her newborn baby girl, Tegan Lee, in 2010.
Little Tegan was born on September 12, 1996, at Western Sydney’s Auburn Hospital.
Only two days later, she vanished.
The body of two-day-old Tegan was never found, despite a lengthy police investigation.
Lane, who is currently serving an 18-year sentence, has publicly professed her innocence in ABC’s new investigative documentary series Exposed.
She believes her daughter Tegan – who would now be 22 – is still alive and is living with no knowledge of her mother.
‘The biggest hope for me is that someone comes forward with my daughter,’ Lane told Exposed.
‘She’d be an adult now. So she obviously has had a whole life perhaps not knowing she is my child.’
Despite her claims, Tegan – who was Lane’s fourth pregnancy in five years – has never been found.
