A bride-to-be has been ridiculed for her bizarre taste in wedding attire after sharing a picture of her red dip-dyed dress.
The unique wedding gown is white on the top – but completely shirks tradition with a deep red ombre at the bottom.
After an anonymous woman shared a snap of the dress to a wedding Facebook group, commenters were lightning quick to compare it to a ‘used tampon’.
‘Am I the only one that thinks tampon?,’ she wrote next to a photo of the strapless gown.
Most people agreed that the colour of the dress resembled period blood, despite it having a purple hue at the bottom.
‘Maybe she knows she’s going to be on her period during the wedding and didn’t want to take any chances ruining the dress,’ one person joked.
‘Some dip dye dresses look good. This is NOT one of those,’ another said.
But some people said the purple colour at the bottom meant the dress probably wouldn’t look like a ‘leaked period’ in real life.
‘Maybe different lighting and a different angle would help it to look better,’ one person offered.
