A British tourist named Dean Steel was killed instantly after posing for a selfie in the middle of a motorway in Germany.
The 22-year-old was run over on the A24 autobahn in Gudow in Schleswig-Holstein
Steele had spent the day with two friends where they watched his team Celtic FC beat the rangers, according to the Scottish Sun.
Police said Steele died instantly after being hit by an Audi 6. His two friends weren’t injured but were treated for shock.
Friends and family paid tribute to him on social media.
‘Can’t believe [sic] he actually gone I’m going to miss him like crazy. I know when fought like cat and dog but that’s what siblings do. I’m going to miss him so much. Love u big bro r.i.p,’ wrote his sister Erin.
