Police and ambulances rushed to the couple’s home in Padstow, Sydney, just after midnight to find Ian laying in the driving, bleeding out from a stab wound to his neck.
9 News reported that Ian had flown into a rage after his fiancée, Tina Cahill, and her two friends brought a man home from the pub.
A fight allegedly broke out at the house, leaving Ian fatally injured.
The other two women, and the man, have been released without charge. Tina Cahill has been denied bail and will face court this week charged with the murder of Ian Walsh.
