Anyone who's ever been a bridesmaid will remember the phrases: "you'll get lots of wear lots of it!" and, "you can alter it and wear it to parties," or (my personal favourite), "it looks equally good on everyone!"
Over the weekend, a woman's Facebook post went viral after she shared a photo for her 22-year wedding anniversary and apologised to her bridesmaids for "those dresses."
In true '90s fashion, bride Tammi Sauer had her bridesmaids dressed in crimson column off-the-shoulder gowns made of drape-like material, with white lace trim.
While most people congratulated Tammi Sauer for her anniversary, one of the bridesmaids pictured decided to have a bit of fun.
She dug out her old dress and proceeded to wear it while watering her plants, doing her washing and lying on the couch.
"What do you mean 'sorry about the dresses'? I wear mine all the time," Heidi Mann wrote above a collage of the photos.
The post quickly went viral with people writing, "This is the best thing I've seen all week! Laughing my head off!" and, "Clearly the best bridesmaid of all time."
