The New Zealand woman, named Toni Kelly fell from a second storey window while taking a photo of herself, according to a close friend of the victim.
It has although yet to be confirmed by UK officials if it was the exact cause of death.
It is believed, Toni had moved from Dargaville in New Zealand to the UK to pursue her teaching dream.
Toni's best friend, Paige Hourigan told Daily Mail Australia: ‘When we were young Toni was one of those people that never had anything bad to say about anyone, she was super girly, laid-back and fun.’
'She was a beautiful girl that will definitely always be remembered — especially for that smile.'
The victim's family are said to be 'devastated beyond words'.
A Givealittle page has since been set up to help bring Toni Kelly home to her family.
Sister to Toni, Stacey Kelly took to Facebook to share her gratitude for everyone's support during the difficult time.
'I just wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the endless support so far' she said.
Stacey added: 'We are completely lost for words & can’t wait to be home.'
