that's life!
We know it takes a stiff upper lip to rule the British monarchy, but who knew it also took a stiff drink… or six?
The bottle lid has been lifted on Queen Elizabeth’s daily drinking habits, with a typical day on the royal’s drinking cart revealed.
Starting with a gin and Dubonnet with lemon and ice just before lunch most days, the Queen then reportedly goes on to enjoy a glass of wine with lunch, dry Martinis in the evening before capping off the day with a glass of Champers.
While she may be downing three times the recommended weekly alcohol limit, the Queen is still going strong and, at 90, is the world’s longest-reigning living monarch.
Cheers to Her Majesty!
