Dating is hard. Unless you’re a mind reader, knowing how someone feels about you can be a bit of guessing game.
That’s where the experts come in. According to the Daily Mail, James Preece, The Dating Guru, and Alexander Ziff, founder of Ciao Dating app, think they know how to tell if someone is interested in you romantically.
Invade your space
If someone is genuinely interested in you, there’s a good chance they will try and invade your personal space. They will get inside your bubble either by moving their chair closer or casually placing a hand on yours.
Nope, they don’t have something in their eye, they are just happy to see you. Excitement combined with eye contact causes our eyes to dry out and therefore blinking is increased.
Talking about themselves/teasing
Both men and women use teasing as a form of flirting. Men on the other hand, also talk about themselves a lot more when they are interested in someone. This might come across as boasting, but the reality is: they are trying to impress you.
The little things
If they are interested in you, they will notice the little things. If you’ve changed something about yourself since you last saw them and they notice, they like you.
Playing hard to get
Sometimes people play hard to get for fear of coming across too keen. The experts recommend not getting too upset about this in the early days.
