Confirming than an approach had bee made, Lemon Baxter associate director Richard Hutton, a real estate agent working on the sale told The Age: ‘There was due diligence involved but nothing has been finalised.’
However, owners of The Gatwick Hotel, sisters Yvette Kelly and Rose Banks, refused to comment.
