Two little penguins who invaded a sushi bar in Wellington, NZ have been released after being 'detained' by police.
The naughty pair were discovered under the fridge in a sushi food truck at Wellington's busiest train station.
It's thought they'd been attracted in by the smell of fish and may even have swam through water pipes to get inside.
The little penguins were caught in the act.
The penguins were intercepted before they could steal anything and temporarily detained by Wellington Police.
'The waddling vagrants were removed from their sushi stand refuge earlier today by Constable John Zhu. Unsurprisingly, this was not the first report Police had received about the fishy 🐠 birds,' said Wellington Police on their Facebook page.
It turned out one of the penguins was a repeat offender as he'd been found earlier this week wandering the streets and had been released back into the sea.
The penguin being released into the harbour.

'We received a call about 8:40pm on Saturday night of a penguin on the road in Featherston Street,' wrote the police on their Facebook page.
However, instead of learning his lesson he'd returned with an accomplice to case the sushi joint.
After being discovered, the adventurous pair were released back into Wellington Harbour.
