A woman has been arrested for filing a false report after phoning the police on her husband claiming he had punched her in the face.
When police arrived however, they discovered that there hadn’t actually been any assault, but instead that her husband had refused to go get her ice-cream because he was tired from work.
When she was told that she would be arrested for filing a false report against her husband she asked officers if she could use the toilet, reports Fox 17.
Police say after a couple of minutes they heard a window open, followed by a thud, as the woman attempted to flee the scene.
She was later caught and arrested and charged with filing a false report and evading arrest.
