Meet Wilbur, the sausage dog whose disability means he has to rely on wheels to get around.

When he was six, Wilbur was struck down with IVDD (intervertebral disc disease)  – a spinal condition that affects on in four dachshunds – and lost use of his back legs.

The pup even attends regular hydrotherapy lessons to help build up strength in his little legs.

Luckily, Wilbur’s doting owner, Petra, is making sure her precious pooch is having a ‘wheelie’ good and has even added ramps to her Melbourne home.
