A neighbour, who spoke to Seven’s Sunrise, says he was woken by screaming,

‘I heard screaming and we were like “what’s that”. Then we went out the front and we were like “that’s our neighbour’s house.”‘

When it is deemed safe to do so, police and fire investigators will examine the home to identify where and how the fire started.
