A two-year-old girl with a large birthmark on her face has responded brilliantly to other kids’ reactions on her first day of preschool.
Little Lydia Wilson Bossley noticed some of the other kids were whispering about her so she simply walked over to her cubby and pulled out a copy of a book she had brought about birthmarks. She then handed it to the teacher to read to the class.
Her mum Kelly, writing on the Facebook page Love What Matters, said the book called Sam’s Birthmark encourages kids to embrace people’s differences.
