Since the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry, the world cannot get enough of Meghan Markle and all her go-to beauty secrets and style must-haves.
With much travel presumably in Markle’s future as she becomes a member of the royal family, most likely as a duchess, rather than a princess, there’s apparently one beauty item she won’t leave home without!
In a recentl interview with Allure, Markle said that she values THIS Aussie products for it’s incredible versatility.
‘The one thing that I cannot live without when I’m traveling is a small container of tea tree oil,’ the newly engaged Markle said.
The former Suits actress further explained, ‘It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all.
‘It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time.’
Tea tree oil is known to be beneficial for treating blemishes, insect bites and cuts, as well as serving as a great antiseptic to keep germs away.
Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of a myrtle tree species native to Queensland and NSW. The affordable oil retails in Australia for as little as $7 for a 15ml bottle.
Meghan further explained, ‘My mum was a travel agent, so off-beaten-path travel has always been a big part of my life.’
We think Meghan has a future filled with travel that will require her beauty go-to!
