A new true-crime documentary about serial killer Ted Bundy is so frightening Netflix has warned users not to watch it alone.
The show, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, features chilling interviews with Bundy while he was on death row.
Ted Bundy was sentenced to death in 1989 after confessing to 30 murders during his killing spree in the 1970s.
When debuting the show on its streaming platform, Netflix issued a stark warning.
‘Maybe don’t watch it alone,’ Netflix wrote on Twitter.
A survivor of a vicious attack from Ted Bundy, a woman named Rhonda Stapley, detailed her chilling escape in the podcast How I Survived.
At age 21, Rhonda was offered a ride by Bundy in his signature tan Volkswagon, where he later assaulted her.
Bundy attempted to choke Rhonda to death and raped her.
Amazingly, she escaped his clutches by plunging into a fast-moving river, which carried her to safety.
