A 10-year-old boy has tragically taken his own life after bullies taunted him over his colostomy bag.
Seven Bridges, from Kentucky in the US, was found by his mother on Saturday after the fifth grader took his life.
His mother Tami Charles told news station WHAS her son struggled with bullies and was often taunted because of his bowel condition.
Seven was born with a medical defect that required over 26 surgeries in his short lifetime.
He permanently needed the help of a colostomy bag for his bowel movements.
Ms Charles said she was planning on removing Seven from his school for a ‘new start’.
‘We would talk to him about having new friends and a new start,’ she said.
‘He just had to get to the end of the year.’
A Gofundme page has been created to raise money for the schoolboy’s funeral expenses.
‘His death is an example of what can happen when we choose not to take the issue of bullying seriously,’ the page said.
