Cops sunbathe in bikinis too…

This pickpocket soon realised he'd made a grave mistake.

A would-be pickpocket made a grave mistake in Stockholm when he tried to pinch a mobile phone from an unsuspecting group of bikini-clad sunbathers.

He approached the group pretending to sell magazines for the homeless and chatted briefly before leaving – it was only then that one of the women realised her phone had gone missing.

He had picked the wrong woman to mess with it turns out – as off-duty police officer and Swedish Ninja Warrior competitor, Mikaela Kellner, chased down the man and pinned him to the ground.

A snapshot of the moment was posted to the athlete’s Instagram where people couldn’t help but love the image of Kellner’s buff bod making the robber eat dirt.

‘I just acted on instinct and didn’t think about it so much until after we had pinned him down,’ Kellner told The Local Sweden.

‘He realised quite quickly that it wasn’t worth struggling.’

‘I would have stepped in no matter what my outfit. Had I been naked I would also have intervened,’ she explained.

‘Nothing will stop me.’

We can’t help but be reminded of this bungled burglary in Perth where the robber managed to spray himself in the face with capsicum spray.
