A man has been caught on camera picking up flowers left at a shrine in Melbourne CBD commemorating Friday’s horrific attack before trying to get on a tram.
Nearby witnesses saw the man and told him to stop before police arrived.
‘They got him real quick,’ one witness told 7 News before shaking his head.
‘It was just shocking to see.’
Police officers escorted the man off the tram and made him put the flowers back.
