A woman from Gembrook, Victoria has taken to Facebook to ask for help finding the ashes of her late sister, which were designed into a ring and then stolen.
Suzie Elphinstone was devastated at the loss of her sister, Erin, who passed away following a car accident in May.
To honour her memory, Suzie had Erin’s ashes designed into a ring, however her Facebook post describes the horrible moment she went to get it.
‘I picked up the parcel… but the package had been tampered with and the ring was stolen.
‘I feel so sick physically and honestly don’t think I can recover if I [lose] this special piece of Erin.’
She says the ring is a tungsten, with Erin’s ashes mixed with blue crystals running around the centre of the band. Inside the ring the name Erin Michelle is engraved.
‘If anyone sees this ring online or at a pawn shop please contact me. I don’t want to [lose] Erin again.’
‘Please share this post as much as you can and hopefully we can find it soon!’
So far the post has been shared over 650 times with kindhearted commenters wishing her the best for finding this precious memory of her sister.
