A 15-year-old girl who flagged down a passing car for help after surviving a horrific rape was raped a second time in the same evening by the man who stopped to help her.
Police are now searching for the two men involved in the separate incidents that occurred between 7pm and 2am on Wednesday in Birmingham, UK.
The teenage girl arrived at the train station with a friend before being led away by a man. After she had escaped her first attacked, she flagged a car for help and was assaulted for the second time.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Fitzpatrick, of British Transport Police told The Mirror: ‘My detectives are currently examining all available CCTV in an effort to identify the offenders and whilst these enquiries are made, we are keen to speak with any potential witnesses.’
‘This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her.
‘It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened on Tuesday morning as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents.’
