A QANTAS flight from Perth to Adelaide was forced to make an emergency landing this morning after a mid-flight medical emergency.
A Qantas spokesperson confirmed flight QF590, which departed Perth about 6.50am, was forced to land at Kalgoorlie Regional Airport after a man became unwell on the flight.
The man, who is in his 70s, was able to walk off the plane and was taken by St John Ambulance to Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
The plane refuelled at Kalgoorlie and was due to land in Adelaide at 12.45pm local time, an hour and 45 minutes later than expected.
