The tragic final words of a 14-year-old Aboriginal girl who took her own life have been revealed.
Perth schoolgirl Rochelle Pryor was rushed to hospital on New Year’s Day, where she tragically died nine days later.
According to The Australian, the young girl sent a heartbreaking last message to her friends on social media.
‘Once I’m gone, the bullying and the racism will stop,’ Ms Pryor wrote.
Ms Pryor was reportedly found unconscious in her bedroom by her father, Geoffrey.
Her sister Kyanne Pryor told the newspaper that she was the victim of racist taunts and bullying.
‘There was racism involved — a lot of the time it was just random people who don’t realise what they’re saying.’
Tragically, Ms Pyror is the fifth Indigenous girl in Australia to die by suicide this year alone.
