Royal fans are worried about Queen Elizabeth’s health after new photographs revealed a mystery bruise on her hand.
During a meet and greet with Queen Rania of Jordan and King Abdullah II of Jordan, the 92-year-old royal appeared to have a large purple discolouration on her limb.
The official photos, taken on March 1, clearly show bruises as the Queen shook hands and smiled for pictures.
After eagle-eyed fans spotted the contusions, many people have speculated the royal may be suffering from a secret health issue.
‘I love keeping up with Queen Elizabeth II but I’m concerned. Why does she have such a terrible bruise on her left hand. Did I miss something?’ one person wrote on Twitter.
According to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, bruises on elderly people can often appear due to thinner skin or a minor injury.
‘The lady is 92 at that age any little knock unfortunately turns into what can look severe bruises. The Queen is rather fab though isn’t she?’ one woman said online.
The Palace has refused to comment on the Queen’s health since the photos were shared.
