If your bus burst into flames, would you think to tap-off?
Transport investigators looking into a bus fire on Sydney Harbour Bridge were stunned by CCTV footage showing a passenger hopping back on the bus to tap his travel card.
Firefighters were called to Milson’s Point, Sydney, last September after a fire broke out.
All 22 passengers were safely evacuated, but one was clearly worried about being overcharged for the journey.
Three people were treated for smoke inhalation.
The final report into the cause of the fire is expected to be released in the next two weeks.
