Panic on cruise ship as husband arrested for wife’s murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after his wife died during a ‘domestic dispute’ on board a luxury cruise liner.

Kristy Manzanares lost her life aboard the Emerald Princess which set off from Seattle, according to FBI.

A statement reported by PEOPLE says it was the result of a ‘domestic dispute’ which resulted in ‘the death of a 39-year-old female guest from Utah.’

Passengers were thrown into a panic when they were told their ship which was suddenly making an emergency stop in Alaska.

One such passenger, Jen Larson, told ABC News that the crew said ‘Security breach! Security breach!’ 

‘We could tell by the sound of his voice that it was something really scary and really serious.’ 

Another passenger told KTVA that his wife had seen a ‘bruised and bloody’ man threatening to jump over the cruise-liner rails. 

Larson recalls a family member witnessing the tragic couple’s young daughter asking where her mother had gone.
