Completely naked, this woman was found soaking wet near a lake in the middle of the night in Friant, California.
Claiming to be a mermaid named ‘Joanna’, the woman also has webbed toes.
According to The Daily Mirror, a spokesman for the the Fresno Police Department said she doesn’t seem to know who she is.
‘She was wet, she said she had been in the lake, said she needed help and needed to be taken to the hospital,’ Lt. Mark Hudson said.
‘We did go through records after fingerprinting her and we still did not come up with her identity,’ he added.
