Mum’s anger over unhealthy lunch box

Can you see the problem?

A bewildered mum has shared a picture of her son’s lunch box, that his school claimed was ‘unhealthy’.

Packing fruit and veg into her son’s lunch box, mum Laura Lee thought she’d given him a nutritious meal.

That was until his school deemed it ‘unhealthy’ and wouldn’t let him eat part of it.

The offending items were three mini cookies, that Laura had packed alongside sandwiches, capsicum, grape and cucumber.

The puzzled mum shared a photo on the Cornwall Live Facebook page, admitted it had left her scratching her head.

“I sent my 2.5 yr old son to school with this and the cookies got sent home because they’re unhealthy – there was 3 MINI Cookies” she wrote on a public post.

Other commenters supported Laura.

“Absolute rubbish that he wasn’t allowed to get those small cookies,’ wrote one. “Everything in moderation surely.”
