A mum has responded hilariously to a daycare teacher’s rude comment about her daughter.
US mother-of-two Jessica Rold was picking up her two-year-old son from daycare, with her seven-week-old bub Clementine in tow.
She was then given unsolicited fashion advice from one of the teachers, who suggested she dress baby Clementine ‘more like a girl’.
According to the Wichita Eagle, the teacher recommended she put her daughter in more dresses or try clipping a bow in her hair.
The next day, Ms Rold defiantly arrived at daycare with Clementine wearing a blue Kansas University Jayhawks jumper and a fake bow drawn on a post-it note.
Posting to Reddit, Ms Rold’s husband shared a picture of his baby girl in her new outfit.
‘How my wife dressed our daughter the day after the teachers at daycare told her we really should be dressing her more like a girl,’ the post read.
The witty mother also posted the photograph to Facebook, writing ‘This girl ROCK CHALKS blue,’ and adding the hashtag ‘#PutABowOnIt’.
