Mixed martial arts fighter, Aaron Rajman AKA ‘The Matzah Brawler’, 25, has died following a shooting during a home invasion in Boca Raton last Monday.
A press released states that an unidentified group of men entered his home late that night, resulting in a confrontation which ended with Rajman dying of a gunshot wound.
The men fled the scene. It is unknown why they chose to enter Rajman’s home.
Rajman was an active member of his Orthodox Jewish community, and is described by Rabbi Zalman Bukiet of Chabad of Boca Raton as ‘a special young man who had a heart of gold.’
Friend and fellow MMA fighter, Tecia Torres, shared a moving tribute to her friend on Instagram, saying ‘A beautiful soul was taken too soon.’
To help with funeral costs a GoFundMe account was set up by friends and family, which reached its goal within 24 hours and will mean Rajman can rest in peace next to his father.
