The 69-year-old ‘You’re The Voice’ singer was struck down with an infection following an operation.

John was due to perform at the ‘By The C’ Concert at Cottesloe Beach on April 7, one of four stops around Australia which included Coolangatta, Geelong and Wollongong.

‘This is due to John’s recent illness from which he is still recovering,’ Zaccaria Concerts said in a statement.

‘We wish John all the very best for a speedy recovery.’

The concert organiser has confirmed all tickets will be refunded.

John previously had to cancel performances in New Zealand after he was hospitalised.

‘The infection was bad enough that we had to cancel shows and no one is more mortified about that than John,’ his manager Glenn Wheatley told the Herald Sun.

‘John’s health is 100 per cent otherwise, there’s no other issues, we just have to make sure he’s ready to get back on the stage.’
