A little girl was rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after an “accidental hanging” in a Sydney backyard.
Four crews were called to the Eastern Creek home, in Sydney’s northwest, at around 4:45pm on Tuesday, reports Yahoo7.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said family members had administered CPR on the five-year-old.
“They were cutting her down and gave her first aid,” he said, adding that the girl was now conscious and breathing at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed the girl was transported to Westmead in a critical condition. Police are investigating the incident.
