Firefighters have successfully rescued passengers trapped in a stalled car on the Arkham Asylum roller coaster at the Gold Coast’s Movie World theme park.
Despite receiving an all-clear from Worksafe Queensland last month, Movie World’s Arkham Asylum roller coaster stopped mid-ride – trapping roughly a dozen guests.
Emergency services used a lift platform to rescue the passengers, there were no reports of injuries however the trapped were required to wait in 30+ degree heat.
