A soon-to-be groom says he had to wear a neck brace and his fiancee was knocked out cold after they attempted to pull off the famous lift from Dirty Dancing in anticipation of their wedding dance.

Not only did they not exactly get it right, Sharon Price and her fiance Andy were knocked out cold and hospitalised after an epic fail
‘We were about 30ft apart and Sharon ran and I grabbed her hips and the next thing we knew we were flat out,’ Andy told BBC.
Sharon also had a patchy recollection of the incident: ‘I can remember running towards Andy and then the next thing just struggling for breath and my back was hurting.’
The pair were rushed to hospital, and after about 6 hours and a CT scan they were allowed to leave, diagnosed with concussions.
Meanwhile, the photo of them collapsed on the ground went viral on Twitter.
Sharon admits she may have gotten a bit too excited about re-creating the scene from one of her favourite films.
‘I don’t think we’ll have that one at the wedding, I think we’ll go for a traditional slow one and I’ll let Andy choose,’ she says.
