Furious shoppers have come together on social media to vent their frustration after missing out on savings during the biannual ‘Click Frenzy’ shopping extravaganza.

With savings advertised at up to 99 per cent off – including home entertainment systems, computers, beauty products, toys, fashion, food and more from over 500 companies, the online started at 7pm on Tuesday night.

However, shortly after the extravaganza’s start time, a cry of disappointment soon followed across Twitter and Facebook as users found the intense competition too fierce while some were let down by slow internet speeds.

Angry online shoppers vented that it was incredibly difficult to locate items that were being advertised prior, with companies luring customers to their sites with prices that were incorrect or misleading.

Others, who were redirected to partnering sites, came across crashed webpages.
