My Kitchen Rules judge and enthusiastic surfer Pete Evans has shared a photo of a horror injury he sustained while surfing.
Apparently crashing into a reef while trying to catch waves, he ended up losing a lot of skin off his arm. But it seems he has a fair sense of humour about it all.
‘You gotta roll the dice sometimes,’ he wrote on Instagram while sharing the below image.
‘The wave before this one, was one of my best barrels I have ever had. Super low tide at Restaurants with just a couple of guys out.
‘So much fun with a little pain thrown in too.@kellyslater & @tomo_surfboards I sacrificed your board to save a bit more of my flesh on some exposed reef! #reeftattoo.’
What’s a nasty wound. We hope Pete isn’t in too much pain.
