Bride furious after mother-in-law picks floor-length white gown for herself

She feels like her mother-on-law is trying to upstage her

A furious bride-to-be has taken to a private Facebook group to complain that her future mother-in-law is trying to upstage her on her wedding day.

The unnamed woman explained that her mother-in-law had been given five colour options for her wedding day outfit to fit with the wedding theme, none of which were white.

Despite this, when she saw a photo of what her future mother-in-law planned to wear, it was a white floor-length dress that looks suspiciously like a wedding dress, even complete with its own train.

‘Is it as bad as I think it is? Please tell me it’s as bad as I think it is and I’m not overreacting for it being too white,’ the bride pleaded in the Facebook group.

Even worse, the bride had been asking what her future mother-in-law planned to wear but she’d refused to send a photo. The furious bride only saw the photo when her future sister-in-law secretly snapped it and sent it to her.

‘We gave her around five colours to pick from in our theme and tried to make it fun for her because she’s been so unexcited about the whole wedding,’ she wrote.

After she shared the photo, many people in the Facebook group were shocked.

‘Why would you think that it’s acceptable to wear a white dress WITH A TRAIN to your son’s wedding?’ said one commenter.

Another added: ‘No one wears white to a wedding. It’s disrespectful.’
