Emergency crews were unable to save the life of a four-month-old baby after they fell 12 metres over an escalator at a shopping centre.
Footage of the tragic accident show mum – carrying the baby and holding the hand of another child – stumbling on the escalator before accidentally letting go of the infant.
The baby then plummets past oblivious shoppers to their death.
It appears that the woman’s long dress became caught in the escalator, causing her to stumble.
