Who’d pass up a date to the zoo with Canberra cutie Anthony Symes?
The 35-year-old bachelor took a punt and decided to try and find a date in an unconventional way.
With less than a month until a double pass to the National Zoo and Aquarium expired, Anthony decided to take a selfie and post an ad in the ‘Buy Swap Sell – Canberra and Queanbeyan’ Facebook group.
The cheeky post, titled ‘Free ticket to the zoo – with a catch’, attracted 1800 reactions, and was been shared more than 150 times, according to The Canberra Times.
Even better, Anthony has received 120 private messages from women wanting to take him up on his offer.
‘I’ve never been on Tinder and it’s never appealed to me,’ Anthony told The Canberra Times.
‘At the end of the day, I’m just looking for someone to have a nice day at the zoo with.’
Now, Anthony needs to select one lucky lady.
‘[I’m looking for] someone who is open-minded to go on that initial journey.
‘Hopefully I’ve created a sliding doors moment with someone who’s going in the same direction as me.’
